Highlight of the Episode : Mirth

Undercurrent thought I have throughout the episode: What is it with DOJ ? Why is the DOJ after NCIS this season. If not DOJ then DOD. Sigh!! All of a sudden the world has run out of terrorists and we have departmental scams and hangups going on!! And instead of Terrorist Hunting, we are SEAL Hunting. Yeah right!!. We are hunting for the fake Navy Seal who has got Sam Hanna nailed for murdering a woman. That is what this episode is about.

This time around, NCIS LA is all about cooperating with DEA, DOJ, DOD and while doing that play smart to get themselves isolated and have their own way. Oh well! War on Terror became Drones and NSA Surveillance and which now has come to serious questioning. Thus is the narrow down or spill over of current affairs of Govt Policies on NCIS LA.

  1. Recently found your blog and love it, thanks! Do you know if this episode that Chris O'Donnell directed will air as the second episode of season 6 - or could it be aired later in the season?

    1. Hi Tonya,

      Thank you. My pleasure.
From the twitter feed, I guage that Chris O Donnell directed episode comes across as the one after 6x01-Deep Trouble Part 1. However, since they have actually not shown us so far the screenplay title page, there is no way, we can be sure that it would be 6x02. It could be any number that they want to air it as. Sometimes they shoot episodes in way that is efficient for Production Budgets and Operational schedule. For ex: last season 5x07-Livelong Day actually was shot before 5x06=Big Brother just like 5x05 was shot as season 4 ending production. We will know only after the production team has made executive decisions and is actually ready for Publicity.

That is why I started it as 6xXX. Cannot remember how and when I decided to title it as 6x02. Haha!! I will correct it now. Thank you once again. For your interest, comment and the question. Interaction always helps. Mean a lot of scope for improvement.

      Shridevi
