Episode Summary
Hostage Drama
The Drama has lot of surprises. Question is whether it would be good for me to jot down them here, or I should not write about them and keep the thrill afresh as ever. I decide not to expose any surprises here. This way I can watch the episode anytime.
NCIS Personnel Highlights/OSP fun
-
A balanced episode with all 4 pairs having equal distribution of work about the episode. I enjoyed the teamwork. Perfect tuning and trusting each other through their trust in training.
Ops Manager/s
OPs Manager Hetty Lange
Asst Director Owen Granger
Granger is back. And Hetty flies back from luncheon in Nicaragua, which she had ruled once for few hours at the time of coup. :)
Partnership 1-
G Callen & Sam Hanna
Another Callen episode and we love it. Only thing we feel bad is, he did not suspect that woman of any possible wrong doing. That’s something present with Callen, where he is always respectful of women!
Callen in the hospital bed in that dress. Perhaps it is first for us. And thats what Callen talks about as the episode ends. How I wished Joell to be there when Callen wakes up after two weeks. Alas! that did not happen!
Partnership -2
Marty Deeks - LAPD Liaison Officer
Kensi Blye -Special Agent
Plenty of good action within the partnership shared with Sam and later, fun with Eric and Nell.
The much talked about Stunt, leaning on to the 19th floor window, for Deeks is there. We remember the whole action sequence from 3x10-The Debt. Coz its almost the repeat from the same character and the writer. We love it even if it is a repeat, because there is emotional change. Deeks is not joking, so it means he is not nervous at all about the feat.
Ops Room  Partnership
Eric Beale- Tech Operator
Nell Jones - Intelligence Analyst
There’s that funny scene with Eric discovering where does Nell buy her lingerie from! Haha.
And otherwise too, loved watching them.
Guest Characters

Others/GK

Celtic Militia and IRA back on action stories dealing with terrorism.
And Jehad being used as cover by other militant outfits too!

Every day I have the honor of sharing a scene with Linda Hunt is a great day.

Good season for Granger. No big dedicated ep's, but character coming into focus every week in a subtle way like never before. Interesting.

Deeks being The Man... 16 stories high with all of looking on.

If by men u mean man, and by Man U mean Deeks, and by above u mean 16 floors of death...then yes;…

Director will have another take, dammit!

Fun Friday Fact #2: Today I turned in the screenplay for my 20th episode of NCIS: LOS ANGELES.

Fun Friday Fact: The University of Pennsylvania rejected me from their fancy invite-only "Screenwriting" class each time I applied.

Happy sock day. Waiting for my buddy to show me what he's got! Looking forward to EP 609
